Six months ago, I posted a survey of opinions about debate. I couldn't figure out how to analyze the results efficiently, so I delayed the resulting post. I later forgot about it. Thanks to Rebar for reminding me.Here is the raw data, which is somewhat disorganized from my survey planning, and here is a question-by-question summary. The summary is interesting, but we would likely find the good stuff by sorting the data by question and finding patterns. Would love for someone to do analyze the results and interpret surprising findings (e.g., widespread inconsistencies, cool implications, differences by gender, etc.). If interesting questions arise, I'll write another survey.
