The Victory Briefs Writing Fellowship is a selective, season-long, and free extracurricular program for debaters who wish to impact their community through persuasive writing. Fellows will write at least one article for publication on Briefly every two months. All articles will go through an editing process. Fellows will be eligible for writing awards at the end of the season and will be considered and preferred for paid writing positions upon graduation from high school.The Fellowship is aimed to help students influence their peers, develop persuasive writing skills in a non-competitive context, serve as role models for younger debaters, and take ownership over their activity. Fellows will also gain an impressive experience for college applications and, of course, have fun. Availability of Fellowship positions is limited by our ability to assign a suitable editor to mentor each Fellow.
