This two-week session takes place from June 28th to July 11th at the University of Texas at Austin. It is open to Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas Debate and is suitable for debaters of all experience levels, circuits, and competitive ambitions. This session is perfect for debaters looking to get ahead on their preparation and build strong fundamentals before the competitive season begins.
This program is a collaboration between UT Debate and VBI. The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin, UT, or Texas) is a public research university in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1883, it is the flagship institution of the University of Texas System and the largest institution in the system. Located in the vibrant capital city of Austin, UT provides an exceptional academic environment and cultural experience for students from around the world.
Students and staff will stay in UT Austin dorms. Most students will share a room with another camper. Roommate request forms will be sent out in the spring after students have registered.
VBI tuition covers three meals per day for students in the campus dining facilities.
